| A. | The breaker is disassembled to the smallest assembly to allow for a detailed visual inspection. If needed: | |
| 1. | Damaged frames are replaced, repaired or repainted. | |
| 2. | Bases and covers are cleaned. | |
| 3. | Moving and stationary contacts, contact structures, and primary and secondary disconnects are polished and resurfaced, retipped and silverplated, or replaced. | |
| 4. | The operating mechanism is checked for bent, broken or worn parts. | |
| 5. | All undervoltage releases are replaced. | |
| 6. | Programmers are repaired and PC boards replaced. | |
| 7. | Current transformers are rewound. | |
| 8. | All auxiliary devices are tested and replaced if manufacturer specifications are not met. | |
| 9. | Auxiliary switches and brackets are insulated. | |
| 10. | Trip units are calibrated. | |
| B. | The breaker is reassembled to factory specifications. | |
| C. | A final inspection and operations test is performed and documented. | |
